I found the GVox website hard to navigate -- you have to dig a bit to find the products. To find the Windows demos, navigate to "Recording Studio", then "Software Download". There are no Macintosh demos.
GVox acquired Passport in July 1998. Since then, they've produced an up-to-date Macintosh version of Encore. In early March 2000, their website indicated that Encore 5.0 was (apparently) under development, but there was no indication of when it would be released.
In late May 2000, there's a notice that GVox will no longer be producing boxed shrinkwrapped software, but that their products would be available for download, "soon".

The online music lessons they offer look sort of interesting as well.
