February 14

Drywall installation is complete.

February 21

Drywall is taped and mudded. This took longer than I expected, because the mud had to completely dry before a new coat was added.

March 1

Once the drywall was complete, the walls were primed.

The frame for a cabinet was built to cover the access to the cleanout pipes (for the waterproofing system).

The vanity cabinet and tiles were installed in the bathroom.

March 3

Molding was installed aroound the doorways

The first coat of paint in the finished colors was put on, and the bathroom tile was grouted.

March 4

The base of the cabinet covering the cleanout pipes was finished

The painter cut in the main color all around the walls.

March 5

The first coat of paint is fully in place.

The sink top was installed.

March 6

The plumber was here today, and installed the fixtures in the bathroom.

March 7

The electrician installed a surfiet of smoke detectors today. (These are the installation holes for a new light fixture and a smoke detector in one of the upstairs bedrooms). This was more exciting than you might expect if you don't have a toddler in the house. Ben kept pointing out the holes in the ceiling.

The dumpster was collected

Doors were installed in the basement.

March 10

The carpet was installed

And some furniture was moved into place. (We expect some of this to change as we settle into the rooms
