I've decided to have my kitchen remodeled. I have lived here for 28 years and last had work done in the kitchen about 17 years ago.
These pictures shows the original kitchen with slight changes made about 3-4 years after I moved in.
The stove was replaced. The original stove had an additional oven on top. There was no dishwasher.
This shows the entry to the front hallway and the original floor. I used to keep an Oriental rug in the kitchen.
I bought the butcher block table for my microwave and added shelves for my cookbook collection. This picture also shows the wide entrance to the living/dining room.
This refrigerator and track lighting were also purchased about 3-4 years after I moved in. I won't be able to have my "shrines" on the new stainless steel refrigerator!

About 17 years ago I decided to do over my kitchen. I decided to reface the existing metal cabinets. The laminate has cracked and is peeling and the Formica kitchen counter is showing its age. These are pictures of that first remodel. Note I added a dishwasher and, unseen, a garbage disposal.
