I attended a Figure Drawing Workshop at Richard Halstead's studio during the last week in July. It was a very serious, intense class. In the morning we had a lecture on anatomy for artists and did some short poses. For the rest of the morning and afternoon we worked on our drawings or paintings of the model who maintained the same pose all week. She was an excellent model who is a dancer by profession.
I did two drawings, neither of which is really finished. I used charcoal and grey pastels, both Nupastels and Rembrandt soft pastels.
