Margaret was our model for April. She presented a problem to the whole class because she had trouble keeping her eyes open! At the end of the month Richard said I could "graduate" to color. I will be using pastel pencils in May because a) he thinks I do better work in a smaller format and b) they are portable and easy to carry on the "el."
In May, I used pastel pencils (COLOR!!)for the first time. Unfortunately, the painting was not finished enough to post here. In June, I missed class entirely because I was recovering from knee replacement surgery. I'll be back in the fall.
